Outdoor Swimming Pool Design
Though relatively simple and inexpensive to build, outdoor swimming pools are big energy consumers. Much of this energy is often wasted in the form of heat loss, but it can be saved with proper design and use of swimming pool covers. Technology Swimming Pools can minimise the energy consumption of outdoor swimming pools by installing energy efficient heat pumps, fully automatic pool covers and other equipment that will significantly lower the energy use.
We carefully select the method for design and installation of your pool based on intended use and site conditions like pool location with respect to wind / shade. As the most economical method is chosen, we start saving you money right in the beginning. As a part of our package, we advise you on pool surrounds and surround lighting. Typically, we would start the outdoor swimming pool construction process by issuing a dig plan and a concrete drawing. In most of our projects, the main builder does the excavation and concrete, and in quite a few we leave the pool finishing to them as well. We would come in while the pool shell is being constructed to put our pool shell fittings and run the plumbing back to the plant room location.
We are happy to let the owner or main contractor do as much work as possible on their outdoor swimming pool, while we help them during the build and keep only the specialist work under within our scope of work. This allows the owner or main contractor to better control the project, without paying high mark ups for sub contractors that most pool companies use.
